Frank Clark is the NFL's third all-time postseason sack leader and has been a dominant force on the Chiefs' defensive line since joining Kansas City in 2019.
But after yet another solid campaign from the former Michigan standout in 2022, Clark was surprisingly released by the Chiefs in March.
This Thursday, it appears he's found a new home.
According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Clark is signing with the Denver Broncos.
Clark, who'll turn 30 next week, tallied five sacks for the Chiefs last fall and has been a consistent producer in their front seven for several years. He was named a Pro Bowler in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
A former Seahawks' second-round pick, Clark should provide the Broncos with some much needed help in the pass-rushing department this coming season. Denver ranked ninth-worst in terms of total team sacks in 2022 (36).
Similar to many of the moves the Broncos have made this offseason, it seems new head coach Sean Payton had his fingerprints all over today's reported signing. According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, he and Clark "hit it off" during a phone conversation earlier this week.
We look forward to seeing Clark compete against his old team this fall.
