A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash Wednesday evening in Kansas City. The crash happened around 6 p.m. on northbound Interstate 435 just before 63rd Street. The accident investigation unit was called to the scene to investigate.An initial investigation determined the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed.The motorcycle was weaving between lanes and "popping wheelies," according to the Kansas City Police Department. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
