Officials with the Kansas City division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation said FBI agents were involved in a standoff in a busy area of downtown Kansas City Wednesday morning.Agents closed off Broadway Boulevard near 32nd Street while they worked to apprehend a man believed to have been barricaded inside a hotel room in the area.Officials said agents had a warrant to arrest the man for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.Authorities said the individual was taken into custody around 8:30 a.m. without incident.No additional details have been released.
