IT’S AN EXCLUSIVE PREMIUM SPACE THAT WILL FEATURE ROTATING CHEFS AND CUSTOM MADE CRAFT COCKTAILS. THE CURRENT WANTS TO HONOR KANSAS CITY’S HISTORY AND HOW FAR SOCCER HAS COME FOR WOMEN. WITH THE PITCH CLUB’S DESIGN. A LOT OF TIMES WE HAVE TO KIND OF PINCH OURSELVES BECAUSE WE DON’T REALIZE THAT THIS IS SO BIG AND IT’S HAPPENING RIGHT IN OUR OWN BACKYARD. THE PITCH CLUB IS THAT CROWN JEWEL OF THIS STADIUM BECAUSE IT REPRESENTS EVERYTHING THAT KANSAS IT IS. AND THE IDEA BEHIND EVERYTHING THAT WE’RE PUTTING IN THE STADIUM IS THAT IT IS REALLY KANSAS CITY CENTRIC. TICKETS IN THE PITCH CLUB ARE LIMITED. THE DOWNTOWN STADIUM WILL BE THE FIRST BUILT FOR A PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM AND IT’S EXPECTED TO BE DONE IN 2024. THE CURRENT FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON IS ON THE ROAD AGAINST THE NORTH CAROLINA COURAGE.

A 8,200-square-foot beer garden will be joining the Berkley Riverfront Park, Port KC announced on Monday. The Berkley Beer Garden will hold its groundbreaking late this summer and will be opened in 2024, joining the Kansas City Current’s new stadium, the Origin Hotel and the arrival of the Kansas City Streetcar. "It’s a step toward Port KC’s plan to make Berkley Riverfront a must-experience KC destination," Port KC said in a news release. The two-story building will include food and entertainment options. The Thrash Group will oversee the development. KEM Studio is the design firm assisting on the project.
