The Kansas City Chiefs are always looking for offensive weapons to surround star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and it looks like head coach Andy Reid might have eyes on quite a notable free agent target: Odell Beckham Jr.

During a press conference this week, Andy Reid was asked about the possibility of signing Odell Bekcham Jr. on a free-agent deal. He certainly didn’t deny that the team had an interest. In fact, he seemed to confirm that they are working to potentially sign him to the team this offseason.

“Odell is a good football player,” Reid said in the press conference, according to NFL.com. “Yeah, he does a nice job. So, we’ll see how all that goes.”

Beckham is one of the top free-agent wide receivers on the market currently and has proven himself one of the most dominant receivers in the game when he’s healthy. However, there are some concerns about his health and preparedness heading into the 2023 season.

Beckham has not played a single snap in over a year after suffering an ACL injury during the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals following the 2021 season.

We’ll have to see how these talks with the Chiefs materialize.
