Engineers worked through the weekend and have restored service to KMBC's transmitter. Most viewers will again see signal from KMBC 9 News and its digital subchannels.
Some viewers may need to rescan their televisions.

ORIGINAL STORY: Transmitter issues are preventing TV sets that use an antenna from picking up KMBC 9. The problem also appears to be affecting DirecTV customers.
KMBC's engineers are working to fix the problem, but it is unclear how long it will take for repairs to be complete.
