TEMPERATURES IN THE FORTIES RIGHT NOW. BUT IT WILL GET WARMER OVER THE NEXT 12 HOURS. DRIZZLE LASTING THROUGH LUNCHTIME EVEN WITH OUR CLOUDY SKY THIS AFTERNOON. A WARM FRONT LIFTING AS FAR NORTH AS INTERSTATE 70. AND THE RIVER WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO REACH INTO THE SIXTIES AND SEVENTIES. MEANWHILE, NORTH OF THAT BOUNDARY ON THE COOL SIDE AND NORTHERN MISSOURI, HIGHS HITTING THE BREAKS IN THE FIFTIES AND SIXTIES AND IT’S ON THE COOL SIDE OF THAT FRONT OVERNIGHT WHERE WE MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL DOWNPOURS AND THUNDERSTORM FORMS AFTER MIDNIGHT HERE ACROSS NORTHERN AND NORTHEASTERN MISSOURI. SOME OF THOSE STORMS COULD PRODUCE SOME HAIL, NOT ANTICIPATING WIDESPREAD SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OR MANY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS, BUT MAYBE ONE OR TWO COULD BECOME STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE HAIL UP TO AN INCH. AND STRONG WIND GUSTS THAT’S GOING TO BE NORTH AND EAST OF KANSAS CITY FOR COMMUNITIES ALONG INTERSTATE 35. FROM CAMERA, THE BETHANY AND TRENTON AND CHILLICOTHE, THURSDAY WILL BE A CHILLY DAY, BUT DRY ON OUR FIRST OF OUR 90 DAY FORECAST. AND WE’RE BACK INTO INCREASING RAIN CHANCES FOR FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND FRIDAY EVENING. PLANS. SATURDAY IS THE DAY THE WEEKEND THAT YOU WANT TO PLAN SOMETHING OUTSIDE THE GROUND IS GOING TO PROBABLY SOGGY, BUT THE CLOUDS ARE GOING TO CLEAR OUT AND WE’RE GOING TO SEE THE SUN SATURDAY AFTERNOON, 60 DEGREES. THEN WE GOT TO GO BACK INTO THE RAIN. FIRST ALERT WEATHER IMPACT DAY ON SUNDAY. RAINY IMPACTS IN THE AFTERNOON AND THE EVENING. NEXT WEEK LOOKS LIKE A MUCH DRIER WEATHER PATTERN. Fog, drizzle and pockets of rain showers will make for a chilly, damp morning. Cloudy this afternoon with a high of 64 in Kansas City, but highs only reaching into the 50s for communities north of Kansas City and into the 70s to the south. Only a few thunderstorms are possible overnight, but stronger updrafts may produce hail up to the size of quarters. Chilly and cloudy Thursday. High 51. Cloudy with rain chances increasing Friday afternoon and evening. High 52. The sun will make an appearance Saturday afternoon. High 60. Back into the clouds with rain showers likely Sunday afternoon and evening. High 51. A drier weather pattern commences Monday and last through next Thursday with highs in the 50s and 60s.
