Epilepsy Foundation of Texas to host The Great Epilepsy Cookout in Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Epilepsy Foundation of Texas announced that The Great Epilepsy Cookout is set to begin at 6 p.m. on Oct. 5. The event will be held at the Hodgetown Stadium, 715 South Buchanan St.

According to the Epilepsy Foundation, individual tickets are on sale for $80 and sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $600.

Activities at the event include:

• BBQ dinner
• Music
• Silent and live auctions
• Games
• Dancing

• Doors open: 6 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• BBQ dinner: 6:30 p.m.
• Presentation and live auction: 7 p.m.
• Casino opens: 7:30 p.m.
• Silent auction closes: 9:30 p.m.
• Event ends: 10:30 p.m.
