Job fair coming to Kona Commons Shopping Center

Looking for a new job? Looking for a summer job? The merchants at Kona Commons Shopping Center are looking for you.

Head to Kona Commons on June 2, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. or June 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are more than a dozen merchants hiring and some will offer on-the-spot interviews for a job.

Management, retail and food service positions are all available. High school students and college students home for the summer are welcome. Merchants who are hiring will have tables outside their storefronts with staff to handle applications and interviews.

Kona Commons, owned by local partners MacNaughton and Kobayashi Group, is home to 26 national and locally owned shops, and restaurants.

Voted West Hawaii’s Best Shopping Center for 11 years, the property regularly holds free, family-friendly community events including monthly artisan markets featuring locally made products.
