Great News Wyoming: Hobby Lobby Raising Their Minimum Wage to Almost $20 an Hour
The cost of living is outrageous. We can start with that. But one retail company recently made a huge announcement about their wage policy. Near the end of September 2024, it was announced that the arts and crafts specialty store, Hobby Lobby, would be raising their minimum full-time hourly wage to $19.25. The change went into effect Tuesday, October 1st, 2024.
Finding Local Foods in Wyoming Just Got Easier
Finding local foods across the state of Wyoming just got easier. The University of Wyoming Extension have revised an outdated directory to refelct over 1,000 listings for local food providers including specialty crops and products. These include fresh vegetables and fruits; culinary herbs and spices; honey; homemade goods such as jams, jellies, salsas, barbecue and hot sauces, pickled and fermented vegetables, and fruit pies; hard cider; and wine, among many others.

Then, it will be the conference swim meets, last chance swim meets, and the state championships are four weeks away. Week 7 starts with a Senior Night dual in Kemmerer on Wednesday.
