A star linebacker from Junction City is nearing his college decision, with the Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats among the finalists.

 

Michael Boganowski is considered by many to be the top high school football prospect in the state of Kansas for the class of 2024.

 

Boganowski recently finished a summer skills camp in Salina, and will embark on a trip to visit his five finalist schools, with the goal of coming to a decision. A few of the key factors for the star defender are playing time, coach relationship, and direction of the program.

 

The five schools in the mix are Kansas, Oklahoma, Stanford, Florida State, and Kansas State.

 

Early speculation has Kansas State and Oklahoma as the favorites, but the upcoming senior has kept his thoughts very private over the recruiting process.
