MSSU Baseball Dominates Against Rogers State in 13-4 Home Win

JOPLIN, MO – MSSU baseball would go on to score 11 unanswered runs in its 13-4 victory on Tuesday afternoon against Rogers State.

The Lions offense was largely carried by Will Doherty’s 3 hits, 3 RBIs, and 3 walks. Doherty would go 3-for-3 at the plate, and draw the lions even with a game tying double in the bottom half of the third, and go-ahead single in the bottom half of the fourth.

Nate Mieszkowski, Henry Kusiak, Drew Townsend, and Ethan Clark would also have strong days at the plate. The Hitters would combine for 7 RBIs, in a game Southern lead in from the 4th inning to the final pitch.
