Thief steals over 30,000 Pokemon cards

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Police are looking for a thief who stole more than $10,000 worth of Pokemon cards.

On Sunday, June 4, Officer Zachary Nead responded to a reported residential burglary in the 700 block of West Nettleton Avenue.

The victim told police he had been gone for a month. When he returned home, he found a rear window broken and several items missing.

According to the initial incident report, the thief made off with nearly $12,000 worth of items including a PlayStation 5, a large flat-screen TV, a Nintendo Switch, and more than 30,000 Pokemon cards collected since the 1990s.
