JOLIET, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- The search continues for a fourth suspect in a couple of southwest suburban car thefts.
There was a big search Wednesday in Joliet for four suspects wanted in the taking of two cars one from Lockport. A perimeter had been set up in the area around Black Road and Junie Court and Joliet police said two Chicago men, ages 20 and 21 and a 16-year old, were eventually captured.
Police eventually lifted a shelter-in-place order for people in the community because the feeling was the fourth suspect was no longer in the area.
Joliet police said the crew is suspected in a number of car thefts and burglaries in the suburbs.
