    TRI-CITIES, Tenn./Va. (WJHL) — Whether you want to take Dad out for Father’s Day, looking to hang out with friends or do something on your own, there are plenty of events planned in the Tri-Cities.

    Below are events happening in the region from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16.

    • Friday, 7 p.m. – Hosts the Burlington Sock Puppets (Game played in Greeneville)

    Greeneville Flyboys

    • Friday, 7 p.m. – At the Tri-State Coal Cats

    Juneteenth Celebrations

    Juneteenth is a federal holiday celebrated on June 19 to commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States. Some local celebrations are taking place over the weekend.

    Bristol, Tennessee Big Truck Day

    Explore fire trucks, dump trucks, police cruisers, trash trucks and more. The event will have freeze pops, face painting and more.
