LaSalle Parish man charged with over 100 counts of Child Porn and animal sexual abuse

CALDWELL PARISH (KTVE/KARD) — On Thursday, April 25, 2024, officials announced that Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit arrested 33-year-old Curtis Webb of Jena, La. and charged him with 3 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 100 counts of Sexual Abuse of Animals. According to officials, the Caldwell Parish Sheriff’s Office initiated the investigation and asked for assistance.

The arrest was a result of an investigation conducted by Attorney General Murrill’s Cyber Crime Unit, Caldwell Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s Office. Webb was booked at the Caldwell Parish Correctional Center without incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
