The Greene County softball and baseball teams play JV/varsity doubleheaders in State Center vs. West Marshall in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference action. Baseball is at Schilling Field and softball is at the high school.

Ram baseball was rained out Monday night at Van Meter. First year head coach Kyle Stalder’s team is 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in the conference. The Trojans are off to an 8-2 start and they’ve won all three games in the HOIAC. After tonight, Greene County and Perry are set to meet at Walt Anderson Field in Rippey on Friday night.

Greene County softball entered the week with a 4-2 record and was 2-1 in the league. WM is 2-4 and 1-2 heading into action tonight. Coach Tom Kennedy’s team will be at home in Jefferson Thursday night vs. Glidden-Ralston in non-conference softball before hosting conference rival Perry on Friday.
