Two Moniteau County residents are arrested following a 45-minute police chase around Jefferson City.

It was last Thursday afternoon when an officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by Dalton Fisher of California.  Fisher was wanted on a no bond felony warrant for a probation violation in reference to an assault of a special victim.

The officer activated their lights at Highway 50/63 and Monroe Street but Fisher refused to stop, driving through numerous stop signs and into oncoming traffic.  The pursuit reached speeds of 94 mph and ended on Brazito Road after Fisher drove over three stop sticks.  Police report the last ten miles of the chase was on rims.

Fisher was charged with resisting arrest.  His passenger, Kyra Hankey, of Tipton, was arrested for resisting arrest and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.  During a search of Hankey’s bag, the officer found four pipes and a dirty syringe.   Â
