Hypodermic needles found on Jasper man during traffic stop, police say

JASPER, Ind. (WEVV) — A Jasper man is behind bars on drug charges after getting pulled over Monday.

The Jasper Police Department says 62-year-old Philip Schroeder was pulled over by an officer who was patrolling in the area of Jackson Street and West 17th Street.

During the traffic stop, officers learned that Schroeder was driving on a suspended license, and that he had hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia in the car.

Schroeder was arrested and booked into the Dubois County Jail.
