Auburn men's golf has solid first day in SEC Championships
Looking to get off to a good start in the first round of the SEC Men's Golf Championships at Seaside Golf Club (Georgia) on Wednesday, the No. 1 Auburn men's golf began fired a round of 6-under 274 to finish the day third overall, trailing leader Vanderbilt by five shots heading into day two. The Tigers will need a top-eight placement following Friday's third round of stroke play to advance to the match play stage of the tournament. Currently, Auburn sits nine shots ahead of ninth place.
