Jacksonville Dec 09 Weekly Crime Report: 1397 Incidents and 58 Crime Stories. Jacksonville reported a total of 1397 crime cases last week, as per the data released on December 9. The most common type of crime was 'Argument', with a count of 458 incidents, followed by 'Domestic Related' crimes, which stood at 232. 'Suspicious Situation' and 'Assault' were also significant, with 178 and 130 cases respectively. 'Theft' was reported 121 times, while 'Arrest' was reported in 66 incidents. Other reported crimes included 'Hit & Run' (54 cases), 'Other' (50 cases), 'Vandalism' (38 cases), and 'Shooting' (35 cases). The least reported crimes were 'Burglary' (30 cases), 'Robbery' (3 cases), and 'Arson' (2 cases). The high number of arguments and domestic-related incidents is concerning and calls for immediate attention from local law enforcement.

The crash happened on the 13600 block of Normandy Boulevard, which is near the Jacksonville Equestrian Center.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman who was shot several times in the back in Northwest Jacksonville is recovering after the scary incident. “I didn’t know if I was going to be able to walk again. I didn’t know what the outcome was going to be. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to make it home to my son,” said Kathianne Huth.

Two incidents occurred in Jacksonville Beach, Florida this week. In the first incident, Jacksonville Beach Police seized 15 packages believed to contain Fentanyl pills with a street value of $750,000 during a routine traffic stop. The vehicle was towed due to violations and one person was detained. In the second incident, Henry Tenon, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in a murder-for-hire plot, made a brief court appearance. He has agreed to testify against others involved in the case, including the victim's ex-wife and her estranged husband.
