Guiseppe’s Pizza to open this month in Jackson Township

• Guiseppe's Pizza is opening its first Stark County location in Jackson Township on June 19.
• This is the second location for the pizza shop, with its original one located in Green.
• This restaurant will have the same menu as the original.

Guiseppe’s Pizza, which has a location in Green, is opening its first Stark County location at 5642 Wales Ave. NW in Jackson Township in the spot previously occupied by Bosco’s Pizza Kitchen. 

The restaurant will be open to the public June 19.

“We are extremely excited to be opening in Jackson Township,” said owner Angelo J. Zimbardi, who owns both locations. He is the third generation of ownership; his grandmother and great aunt opened the restaurant in 1963.

This location will offer the same menu as the Green location. The only difference is that the Jackson spot will have a larger dining area. The menu includes specialty and custom pizzas from mini to sheet size, salads, subs, sides, desserts and drinks and chips. 

Zimbardi said this isn’t the first time Guiseppe’s tried to open a store in this area.

“My grandmother and two uncles had a second Guiseppe's way back in the early 1980s, but it did not succeed due to a change of ownership in the building,” Zimbardi said. “I've wanted to open a second location in Jackson for many, many years, and I am determined to make this one last as long as our Green location has. We feel like this market in Jackson Township offers an opportunity for extreme growth.”
