Brainteaser optical illusion reveals whether you're a 'naturally intelligent' person

Ever felt like your eyes or mind are playing a prank on you?

You might have been staring at an optical illusion . Our brains and eyes team up to make sense of what's in front of us - but the communication can sometimes get jumbled.

Elements like colours, shadows, and perspectives assist the brain in understanding what it's observing, forming an opinion based on these hints. However, if these elements are manipulated in a certain way, our brains can become disoriented.

What's even more puzzling is that two individuals can look at the same optical illusion and perceive two entirely different things. Remember the viral debate over the colour of a dress in 2015?

In this latest optical illusion, you're tasked with identifying the correct fruit in the picture - and what you spot determines whether you're 'naturally intelligent' or not. This challenge, created by UK-based online printing company instantprint, requires you to focus your mind to find the concealed fruit amongst the lines and colours, reports the Mirror .

According to instantprint, this entertaining optical illusion can reveal a lot about your personality and professional abilities. Optical illusions are not only fun and intriguing but also provide insight into how our individual brains function.

If you have keen eyesight, you'll be able to discern the fruit clearly, and supposedly, if you can see it, you're 'naturally intelligent. ' Research published in Current Biology suggests that people with higher IQs can focus on relevant details and ignore irrelevant information more easily.

Those who are naturally intelligent and can identify the fruit are said to be "unlikely to take things at face value" and always seek "nuance to everything". Furthermore, they are considered to be a "pleasure to work with, quick to pick things up and are incredibly reliable" as colleagues.

Instantprint remarked: "Those who are naturally intelligent are likely to be stimulating, good at communicating in many different ways and generally more organised. Intelligent individuals in the workplace are said to be incredibly curious, lovers of information data and are extremely prepared for anything. No matter what they're faced with, they've always got a solution. They have strong analytical skills - they're able to quickly recognise patterns, conceptualise ideas and execute plans ferociously."

So, can you spot the correct fruit?
