Meghan Markle faces major setback on 'Hollywood dream' after rejection

Meghan Markle has encountered a hiccup with the launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. The Duchess of Sussex had plans to unveil her new enterprise early next year, aiming to align it with an upcoming Netflix series related to the brand.

Yet, a blunder with the company's logo has thrown a spanner in the works. The US Patent and Trademark Office spotted an "inconsistent" element in the brand's design, leading to a rejection of Meghan's recent application, thus derailing her Hollywood ambitions.

The issue centers around the 'O' in the logo. The trademark authorities challenged the mark, stating its "description is inconsistent with the mark on the drawing," prompting the Duchess and her team to revisit their creative strategy.

"Descriptions must be accurate and identify only those literal and design elements appearing in the mark," read the official "non-final action" document from the US Patent and Trademark Office.

According to The Mirror US, the document elaborates: "In particular, the current mark description indicates that the letter 'O' appears in the mark. However, the letter is now clearly visible or highly stylized that it is unrecognizable as a letter," reports the Mirror . "Furthermore, the description is incomplete because it does not describe all the elements in the mark."

The document recommended some necessary adjustments, stating: "The following description is suggested, if accurate: The mark consists of a double lined octagon enclosing the stylized and overlapping letters 'AR' and incorporating decorative and looping lines. The latter 'A' contains a stylized flower at the top of the letter," according to the statement.

Meghan has hit another snag with the US Patent and Trademark Office regarding her trademark application, which was previously rejected due to rules against trademarking geographic locations.

The nickname for Meghan's Montecito residence, American Riviera, is being reconsidered for a rebrand. A source revealed that Meghan's team is actively seeking new names.

An insider told The Express that Meghan might take a leaf out of Kim Kardashian's book and rebrand her business after its launch. "The team are thinking of backups as we speak just in case," they said.

They added: "They've been put into a bit of a last-minute spin but they're not too worried because they are aware that Kim K also changed her brand name after launch and it still did amazingly well."

Markle reportedly felt "humiliated" after she was purportedly snubbed by Kris Jenner, as disclosed in Closer Magazine. An insider confided: "Kris has a lot on her plate, but ultimately people can't help but wonder if she's dropped them because she's seen the disastrous opinion polls on the Sussexes."

Furthermore, the source added: "No doubt they [Harry and Meghan] felt they were lowering their standards a little by associating with the Kardashians, so to end up being rejected by them is a pretty big blow. Meghan had eventually come around to the idea and was excited to be working with Kardashians."

Oh, I feel so sorry for Megan. No... Wait!! She is getting what she deserves and rightfully so. She's such a freaking backstabber. Who would trust her? Sorry Megan, but the glorious life you thought you were going to have is washing away with the tide. Hide your money, Harry!!
