Fire fighters work blaze at home in southeast Victoria
VICTORIA, Texas - The Victoria Fire Department worked a fire at a home in the 2500 block of Prince St. Tuesday around 11:17 a.m. The home has extreme damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

On the Diamond: Vets tops Ray for district title; King swept by Victoria East
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The four District 29-5A baseball playoff spots were determined Friday in three different series sweeps. In the district championship series, Veterans Memorial rallied past Ray in the 7th inning of game two to top the Texans, 2-1. Both Eagles runs came in the 7th inning, including the walk-off hit from Sophomore Julian Coalsa. Vets is now a back-to-back district champion.
