The Indianola Community Youth Foundation was awarded an $18,000 grant from Casey’s General Store that will be donated to the Indianola Middle School. ICYF Executive Director Taylor Nehring tells KNIA News she tries to keep her ear to the ground on what is needed in the schools or other organizations, and saw a need in the IM P.E. Department.

“This Casey’s grant became available, and I wrote for it and we got over $18,000 for the IMS PE Department, which will go towards purchasing wristbands that monitor heart rates and help keep kids active. Definitely what ICYF is all about.”
