The Indianola boys track and field team traveled to Waukee NW High School Friday afternoon for the Northwest HS Invite, earning multiple top finishes. Walking away with gold medals for the Indians included Logan Piper in the 400 Hurdles and the 4x100m Relay team, while the Sprint Medley and Distance Medley teams each earned second. Jonce Hale and Eli Fox placed third and fourth respectively in the 100m, Kye Hartung placed 5th in the 400m, Liam Kelso was fourth in the Long Jump, and the 4x200m Relay and Shuttle Hurdle Relay each placed third. The Indians take the weekend off, and travel to Bondurant-Farrar Monday.
