INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a teenager was fatally shot on the west side of Indianapolis.  

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Chapelwood Blvd around 7:50 a.m. on a report of shots fired.

When they arrived, they found 16-year-old Corey Duncan suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. 

Duncan has been pronounced dead.
