Former VP, IN Governor Mike Pence announces Presidential bid

Former Vice President and Indiana Governor Mike Pence.

(Des Moines, IA) – Former Vice President and Indiana Governor Mike Pence has entered the race for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024.

Pence, who turns 64 today, launched a campaign website and video this morning and made the announcement on social media.

He filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission on Monday.

Pence becomes the 10th Republican to file for the nomination and joins former President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron Desantis, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Vivek Ramaswamy, Perry Johnson, Larry Elder, Asa Hutchinson, and Chris Christie in the crowded GOP field.

He is set to appear at a kickoff event in today in Des, Moines Iowa.
