Indiana got a chance to hear from you about the future of US-30 through northern Indiana.
ProPEL, an Indiana Department of Transportation initiative hosted the second round of public meetings to talk about potential changes.
The goal is to identify community’s needs, environmental concerns, and potential long-term transportation solutions.
“I think what people want to know about most is how will access be maintained and how will safety be considered you know be considered as top priority and so the purpose of the meeting is to get additional input from people so we can better understand what’s on their minds what’s their biggest concerns and those things can be taken into account as the study continues,” said Andrea Brady, project spokesperson.
Another meeting will be Tuesday night at Tri-Township Schools in Wanatah from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. CST.
