Monday Morning Accident Leaves Two With Serious Injuries

A three-vehicle crash on Route 210 in Clay County early this (Monday) morning has left two people with serious injuries.

Troop A of the Highway Patrol says 2015 Chevy Impala being driven by 48-year-old Independence, Missouri resident Michael W. Fisher crossed the center line of the highway and struck a 2000 Ford F250 before striking a 2021 Ram 2500, causing that truck to roll over.

Fisher was wearing a seat belt but still suffered serious injuries in the accident. Fisher was taken to Truman Hospital by air ambulance.

Also hurt in the accident was a 15-year-old Richmond resident who was a passenger in the 2021 Dodge Ram. That juvenile suffered serious injuries and was transported by area EMS to North Kansas City Hospital for treatment.
