EL CENTRO – El Centro Police Department (ECPD) officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of East Orange Avenue at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 5, after receiving a report about a man allegedly armed with a gun and making threats. The man fled to a trailer parked in an alley and stayed there until police approached the trailer in an armored vehicle. The suspect was described as a 26-year-old El Centro resident and was taken into custody and booked at Imperial County Jail on charges of Making Criminal Threats. A BB gun was located in the trailer.
