2 Bossier schools placed on restrictive movement Wednesday morning
Two schools in Bossier Parish were placed on restrictive movement Wednesday morning. According to Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, Sun City Elementary School and Elm Grove Middle School were placed on restrictive movement Dec. 6 for a short period of time following an alleged single gunshot sound from a nearby neighborhood.
Caddo Parish employees donate to Toys for Tots
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Caddo Parish’s Toys for Tots program got a big boost thanks to the work of parish employees. Wednesday morning (Dec. 6), employees and members of Caddo Parish’s administration and the Caddo Parish Commission handed over hundreds of toys and bicycles to the United States Marines’ Toys for Tots campaign at Moffitt Porsche Audi in Shreveport.

Shreveport Woman Murdered in Cedar Grove Named
A woman shot and mortally wounded in her home in Shreveport’s Cedar Grove neighborhood early Friday, December 1, 2023, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office. Cassie Williams, 30, was shot multiple times just before 7:19 a.m. in her residence in the 500 block of West 77th Street. She was transported to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, where she succumbed to her wounds at 7:46 a.m.

15-year-old reported as runaway in Bossier City
BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a runaway teen. Officials say Caylien Robertson, 15, who lives in the 300 block of Bayou Loop in Bossier City, was last seen Sunday, Dec. 3. Robertson left the home at an unknown time without permission and did not show up for school Monday, the sheriff’s office says. Family members have been in contact with Robertson, who reportedly will not tell them where she is.
