Recently in the Blanchard area, next to the I-49 on and off ramp, there has been construction of a new Love's truck stop. In recent years there hasnt been very many places for trucks to rest and fill up besides "Elsie's" a Truck stop and fill station just north of town. Many thought the Truck-Stop would bring along more traffic, and higher gas prices, However with the new Love's has brought lower gas prices and fewer problems than expected. The new Love's truck stop, given its fairly new; only a couple weeks old is very clean and all of the staff are very polite and helpful. If you are traveling either way on I-49 I would definently recommend stopping in, getting a cool drink, maybe visiting the Carl's Jr and enjoy the atmosphere.
