BALTIMORE, MD- A Hyattsville resident experienced sheer delight on May 24 as she claimed a remarkable $100,000 prize from a scratch-off ticket at the Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

The lucky player purchased the winning Money Bag Multiplier instant ticket, a $10 game, at the Shell gas station located at 5398 Queens Chapel Road in Hyattsville. As a result of selling the top-tier winning scratch-off, the retailer will receive a bonus of $1,000, equivalent to 1 percent of the prize.

Ranked as the third most popular game in Maryland, the Money Bag Multiplier has captured the attention of players since its launch on April 24. Initially featuring eight top-tier prizes of $100,000, the recent claim by the Hyattsville resident has reduced the number of unclaimed top prizes to six.
