2-Vehicle Traffic Collision With Rollover Leaves Passenger Trapped

Huntington Park, Los Angeles County, CA: A two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning left a passenger trapped in an overturned SUV.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Huntington Park police officers responded to a traffic collision with one person trapped around 2:26 a.m., Apr. 30, in the area of State Street and Gage Avenue in the city Huntington Park.

Upon arrival, firefighters located a trapped passenger and worked to raise an overturned SUV to release the passenger’s arm. The driver was possibly DUI, according to an officer at the scene. He had no visible injuries.

The injured passenger was transported in unknown condition by ambulance to a local hospital.

The second vehicle involved in the collision sustained major damage to the driver’s side back quarter panel, however, the driver was uninjured and not transported to a hospital. The driver appeared to be the solo occupant.
