The Town of Huntington’s spray parks reopened Wednesday after they were shut down last week because of mechanical problems.
Spokeswoman Christine Geed said that the parks will be open in time for hot weather expected to arrive this weekend.
The two parks, one at Elwood Park, and the other at Manor Field Park, have proven popular sites with children.
Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo Memorial Spray Park, in Elwood, opened in 2018. The Manor Field park opened in 2022.
