Cle Ola Kos

Funeral services for Cle Ola Kos, of Hugo, Okla., were held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 at Miller & Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Cle Ola passed away May 17, 2023, at the age of 63.

Cle Ola Kos went to her heavenly home, surrounded by her loving family, on May 17, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Wilma Park.

Cle Ola was born on Jan. 4, 1960, in Hugo, Okla., and grew up in Wright City, Okla. She graduated from Wright City High School in 1978 and was a Co-Valedictorian. She met the love of her life, Dwight Kos, and they were married on March 12, 1988 in Wright City. They then moved to Hugo where they started their life together.

Cle Ola started her career as an insurance agent for the Farm Bureau, where she worked for 28 years until retirement. She was also a member of the Lions Club of Hugo for many years and enjoyed working with the people of the community. In her spare time, Cle Ola loved to stay active by going on walks, working out and hiking. One of her favorite places to go was Colorado with Dwight and they would hike all of the mountain trails. Cle Ola was known for her beautiful smile, genuine kindness and her love for others. She never met a stranger and had a true servant heart. Above all else, Cle Ola was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, her family was her greatest joy in life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Cle Ola is survived by her loving husband, Dwight Kos; daughters: Erin Kos and fiance, Twister Holder of Antlers, Okla., and Ashton Young and husband, Chris of Mustang, Okla.; grandchildren: Ellie Jo Whitson, Carolynn Holder and Gatlin Holder; brother, Clayton Park and significant other, Pete Pena of Houston, Texas; aunt, Beverly Roper; nephew, Ethan Pena-Park; caretaker, Virginia Switzer; along with a host of other friends, family and loved ones.

Interment followed the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Cummings officiating, under the direction of Miller & Miller Funeral Home.
