Thursday morning to see thunderstorm chances
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - South winds will continue transporting moisture northward into Texoma tonight as a strong storm system heads this way. The storm system crosses the area Thursday morning with a few showers and thunderstorms. Not everybody will see rain, but the stronger storms could produce a few wind gusts and perhaps some hail. Any chances for rain/storms should move east of us by the afternoon. Temperatures will rise into the 70s once again on Thursday. Another storm system impacts the area on Friday, but this time, it’s not expected to bring much rain, but instead strong wind gusts. Temperatures starting Friday and this weekend will be a bit cooler and feel more like they should for this time of the year.
