A Brown County man has been arrested after he allegedly assaulted a man with disabilities.
Law Enforcement was reportedly sent to a home in the 2800 block of Dunbar Drive in Howard Memorial Day morning, where they found 22-year-old Vincent Westphal and the victim, who has a spinal condition and uses a walker, arguing.
The 59-year-old victim was said to be covered in blood.
The victim told police that Westphal had passed out on a table in the residence, and when the victim tried to move him, Westphal punched him numerous times in the face and ribs.
The relationship between the two is not clear at this time.
Westphal has been charged with False Imprisonment, Substantial Battery Intending Bodily Harm, Disorderly Conduct, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
His bail was set at $2,500 cash, and he is due back in court for his preliminary hearing on June 8th.
