Missing Juvenile Found With Drug Arrest

At approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Howard County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to an address in the area of 1600 N. 1050 W. after receiving a tip on the whereabouts of a run-away 14-year-old female juvenile.

Upon arrival, Deputies located the missing juvenile hiding in the basement of the residence and placed her into custody. While there, Deputies located and seized over 50 items of evidence relating to dealing marijuana in the area where the juvenile was found. Further investigation revealed that the juvenile was staying with 18-year-old Dylan J. Mclain whom admitted to dealing marijuana and similar THC substances in various forms. Subsequent investigation determined that Mclain had formed a sexual relationship with the juvenile and had been dating her for the past year.

Mclain was booked into the Howard County Jail where he is currently being held on no-bond for the following charges: Sexual Misconduct with a Minor (F5), Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor (MA), Dealing Marijuana (MA), Possession of Marijuana (MB) and Possession of Paraphernalia (MC).
