Former “Saved by the Bell” actor Gerald Castillo has died.

He was 90.

Castillo starred in the hit 90s sitcom as the father of A.C. Slater, played by Mario Lopez.

His wife, Dayna Quinn-Castillo, reportedly announced that he died in his Houston home back on May 4.

“Saved by the Bell” was one of Castillo’s more popular roles but it was far from his only gig. He has a long list of credits which included playing Det. Michael Benedict on “Hill Street Blues.” He also had roles on “Knots Landin, “General Hospital,” “All in the Family,” “Barnaby Jones,” “M*A*S*H,” “Dallas,” “Hunter,” “Night Court,” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

On “Saved by the Bell,” he played Major Slater.

He got his start on TV in 1978 on another hit, “The Jeffersons.”

Per his IMDB page, Castillo last appeared in “Troubled Child,” in 2012.
