CASA of Terrebonne announced that 173 children are currently waiting for advocates in the court system. “We know children do best when they can safely remain with their parents or with other family members. That’s why CASA of Terrebonne volunteers commit to strengthening families in their ability to care for and protect their children,” reads a statement from CASA of Terrebonne.

Find out how you can make a difference at tonight’s information session, June 6 at 5:30 p.m. The one-hour information session is the first step in learning how you can give a child hope for a brighter future.

The mission of CASA of Terrebonne, Inc. is to provide trained community volunteers, to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children, and to promote community awareness about child abuse issues. If you are interested in advocating for stronger families sign up here. The in person meeting will be held at the CASA of Terrebonne Office located at 402 Cana Street, in Houma.
