Officers of the Hot Springs Village Police Department conducted at least seven welfare checks, assisted medical personnel with several emergencies (in one of which they had to make a forced entry into a residence), checked out various malfunctioning gates, and responded to a couple of false alarms. Weekly Safety Report: Vandalism and Missing Teenager in Hot Springs, Arkansas
Hot Springs police have made an arrest in a case involving the vandalism of multiple downtown businesses. The incident occurred on Sunday, with at least five businesses reporting damage to their windows. Surveillance footage showed a man throwing objects into the businesses, causing the damage. Additionally, the Hot Springs Police Department is currently searching for a 13-year-old boy who went missing after leaving his residence on Main Street. The boy was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray Nike slide-on shoes, and possibly a gray shirt. He is described as being five feet tall, weighing around 100 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

AGFC: Game wardens in Hot Spring, Ouachita counties among 12 new graduates
Twelve new faces will be seen behind the badge of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission as game wardens this fall after graduating from the AGFC’s training program. All 12 cadets spent the last 18 weeks of their lives undergoing a transformation from cadet to game warden at the AGFC’s H.C. “Red” Morris Training Center east of Mayflower on Lake Conway. Long days and many nights of training and conditioning have prepared the new recruits for their new role in enforcing wildlife regulations, supporting other law enforcement agencies and becoming valuable members of the communities where they are stationed. By the end of the training school, each cadet received 835 hours of training in self-defense, firearms, first aid and rescue, drug enforcement, physical conditioning, criminal law and wildlife code enforcement.
