The Farmer’s Market was held at the HUB on Tuesday June 6th. There were 14 vendors and this week for the first time of the season the Terry Kirkpatrick had blueberries. While the radishes seemed done there were string beans as well as colorful cauliflower besides the potatoes, squashes and usual items. One vendor had dog treats. For the best selection it is recommended to get there early.
According to Market Manager Deanna Gilbertthe market is growing by leaps and bounds. Future markets in this season will have a mobile library for kids, information booths for health, wellness and community events. The Clinton museum will come, there will be representatives from the health and dental health fields. The Klipsch museum will have a booth. Terrie James will do food demonstrations.
