Hope police log

On May 18th, 2023, at approximately 10:13am, Officers with the Hope Police Department and the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office arrested Danielle Newer of Hope, AR. Ms. Newer was
arrested and charged with Breaking/Entering (two counts), Theft of Property (three counts), Theft by Receiving and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The arrest occurred in the 2200 block
of East 23rd Street. Ms. Newer was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.

Arrested and charged with carrying a weapon and criminal trespass

5/29/23

12:24 a.m. 500 block of S. Main

Gregory Johnson, 28, of Hope, AR

Arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving
