Baseball Game Preview: Monte Vista Heads Out
Monte Vista is 6-0 against South Park since May of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Monte Vista Pirates are on the road again to play the South Park Burros at 11:00 a.m. Monte Vista is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.

With national data showing that DUI crashes increase for high school students during prom season, MVHS showed its students up close what can happen if they try to drive while under the influence.
Sargent’s Willis named ‘Educator of the Year’
VALLEY – Sargent High School history teacher John Willis was named the San Luis Valley’s 2024 Educator of the Year by the SLV Board of Cooperative Education Services (BOCES).
