While hiking the Kuli'ou'ou Ridge Trail, the scenery changed to a coniferous forest (meaning pine trees) which was very unexpected. As someone who used to live in Colorado, this made me feel like I was hiking back in the Rocky Mountains. Hawaii keeps on impressing me!

University of Hawaii Creates Information Hub for Red Hill Military Fuel Storage Facility: Relevant Data for Oahu Residents
The University of Hawaii at Manoa has created the Red Hill Information Hub. This resource center gathers data and information about the Red Hill military fuel storage facility. The UH Red Hill Task Force, based at the UH Manoa Water Resources Research Center, established the hub. It received support from the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center and contributions from various members of the UH community. The hub's mission is to meet the community's data needs and provide reliable information.
UH faculty join parks board with aim to help community
