A man was charged with involuntary manslaughter and other drug charges after a drug delivery incident resulted in the death of a woman.
57-year-old Todd Wignall of Honesdale has been charged with three counts of drug-related offenses and involuntary manslaughter in the drug delivery death of Amanda Parry.
According to the Wayne County District Attorney's office, on January 11, Wignall brought drugs to a residence where he and Parry both ingested them.
Both individuals overdosed from the toxic drugs which contained methamphetamine, fentanyl, and dextromethorphan. Parry died from her overdose and Wignall survived.
Wignall was arraigned on the charges with bail set at $200,000. Unable to post bail he has been remanded to Wayne County Correctional Facility.
