Greenfield man killed in NH car crash

A driver involved may face criminal charges.

A Greenfield, Mass., man was killed in a car crash in Hinsdale, N.H., Tuesday evening.

New Hampshire State Police said in a news release that they were notified of the crash at 5:49 p.m. It happened just south of Runnings near the Vermont state line on Route 119.

Police said their initial investigation indicated that 21-year-old Dylan Morse was speeding in a Volkswagen Jetta and driving west erratically when he turned the car around and crashed into a Jeep Wrangler.

Richard Miner, a 24-year-old Greenfield resident who was a passenger in the Jetta at the time of the crash, was thrown from the car, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Morse, a Winchester, N.H., resident, and 21-year-old Teasha Kristolaitis, another Winchester resident who was a passenger in the Jetta at the time of the crash, were taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Arthur Oefinger, a 59-year-old Hinsdale resident who was driving the Jeep at the time of the crash, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

State Police are still investigating the crash. They said they may press charges in connection with the crash.
